N6EX 900 MHz Repeater


The N6EX repeater went on the air on September 5, 2005. The installation in Orange County is the first foray into 900 MHz repeaters for the Southern California Experimental Amateur Radio Association (SCEARA). The repeater is locally coordinated on the 902.1375/927.1375 pair. It utilizes a digital coded squelch code of 411.

Since its installation, the N6EX repeater has already undergone several performance upgrades. The following links describe the repeater's existing configuration and performance. This website will also serve as a source to document the evolution of the N6EX Repeater by describing the continual modifications underway towards enhancing its overall effectiveness.
